Wittmann Spätburgunder

This biodynamic Pinot Noir from Rheinhessen shows deep red colour with violet edges, and a nose of juicy cherry, ripe plum, wild strawberry, and a gentle touch of vanilla and toast from 18 months in barrel. The palate is fresh and elegant, framed by soft tannins and bright acidity, with a long, fruit-driven finish. Hand-harvested and made with minimal intervention in historic 19th-century cellars, this is a serious yet lively German red.
