Domaine Tupinier‑Bautista Bourgogne Rouge Pinot Noir (often labelled simply Bourgogne Rouge) is a classic red Burgundy (Bourgogne) wine from the family‑run estate in Mercurey in the Côte Chalonnaise of Burgundy, made 100 % from Pinot Noir. It’s typically a medium‑bodied dry red showing fresh red fruit aromas like cherry, raspberry and redcurrant with subtle floral and spice hints, fine, smooth tannins and refreshing acidity, and a bright, elegant palate that expresses the purity of the grape and the cool continental terroir; it’s approachable in its youth and pairs especially well with roast poultry, charcuterie, mushroom dishes or lighter red meats.
