Trefethen Eshcol Red

Trefethen Family Vineyards Eshcol Red is a Bordeaux‑style red blend from the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley, California, made wholly from estate fruit grown in the winery’s historic Main Ranch vineyard. It typically combines Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot as the core, with smaller portions of Malbec, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, and is aged partly in oak to create a fruit‑forward yet balanced wine with bold aromas of blackberry and dried cherry, bright red fruit flavours, modest tannins and lively acidity, making it approachable on release and very food‑friendly with grilled meats, pasta and casual dinners.
