Domaine Talmard Mâcon-Uchizy

An exemplary unoaked Chardonnay, Lemon-fresh scent with a floral edge. Perfectly refreshing but also nicely rounded.

The property is located just outside the village of Uchizy, in the southern region of the Mâconnais AOC where the couple own 30 hectares of vineyards on gently sloping hillsides that face the Saône River producing vibrant wines with great purity and energy. 

Attractive aromas of ripe apple and pear with a wonderful floral overtone. There`s lovely weight on the mid-palate thanks to the creamy, rounded texture that is underpinned by bright, linear acidity leading through into a more exotic core of peach and apricot with added nectarine fused with white pepper spice on the lingering finish. Bravo!
