The 2021 Porseleinberg is a striking Syrah from Swartland, fermented with whole bunches and aged in foudres for 12 months. Its bouquet reveals layers of red and black fruit with slate and iron nuances, reflecting the estate’s unique soils. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, rich minerality, and evolving complexity, finishing with a hint of black pepper. Best enjoyed 2026–2045.
