Pellegrino Dianthà is a white wine from Sicily in southern Italy, classified as IGT Terre Siciliane. Its name, Dianthà, comes from Greek and means “divine flower.” The wine is typically made from a blend of Sicilian indigenous grapes, most commonly Grillo and Malvasia Bianca. It pours a pale straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. On the nose, it shows fresh floral aromas such as orange blossom, jasmine, and citrus, along with subtle hints of mint and grapefruit. The palate is dry, lively, and well-balanced, often with a slight herbaceous or Mediterranean character. It usually has an alcohol content of around 12–12.5% ABV. Pellegrino Dianthà is best served chilled and pairs beautifully with seafood, shellfish, light pasta, salads, or as an aperitif. Overall, it is a fresh, aromatic, and elegant Sicilian white wine that captures the essence of the Mediterranean coast.
