Pelassa nebbiolo d'Alba Sot

Pelassa Nebbiolo d’Alba “Sot” is a red Italian wine from the Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC in Piedmont’s Roero/Alba region, made from 100 % Nebbiolo grapes that are hand-harvested and vinified traditionally with a délestage fermentation to enhance colour and aromatics, followed by malolactic fermentation and extended ageing in Slavonian and French oak barrels and then in bottle before release. In the glass it shows a ruby-red colour with garnet highlights and aromas of rose, raspberry, wild berry and subtle spice, with a dry, harmonious palate, polished tannins and good persistence, making it an elegant, medium-bodied Piedmontese Nebbiolo that pairs well with rich pasta, game, ragù and aged cheeses.
