MAAL Rebelion Malbec De Tres Malbec

Winemaker Alfredo Merlo and grower Matias Fraga teamed up to make MAAL, which simply stands for "Malbec As Alfredo Likes." It's all about Malbec for these guys, produced in varying styles and grown 900-1350m above sea level.

The Rebelion is sourced from three vineyards, combines the elegance of Las Compuertas, with the freshness of Vistaflores and the power of Campo Los Andes. The Rebelion is a deep coloured wine with dark intense blackcurrant and black cherry fruit and a touch of chocolate. On the palate the tannins are soft with a well structured, medium body and dark fruit on the nose.
