Domaine Blain Soeur et Frére Brouilly

From the southernmost slopes of Beaujolais comes this joyous red, crafted by brother-and-sister team Lucie and Marc-Antoine Blain. A pure expression of Gamay, it shimmers ruby in the glass, releasing aromas of ripe cherry, crushed raspberry, and a touch of violet. On the palate it’s supple and juicy, with silky tannins and a mineral freshness that speak of Brouilly’s granite soils. Both charming and precise, this is Beaujolais at its most soulful, crafted with the same care and artistry that the Blain family has brought to their Burgundian roots, now joyfully transplanted to the Beaujolais hills.
