Crozes-Hermitage, Lieu-digts Les Pichères, Ferraton

Whiffs of chocolate and sweet spice accent plush, concentrated flavors of preserved plum and black cherry. Aged eight to 10 months in barrel, it's a boldly fruity red shadowed by hints of smoke and cocoa powder. Fresh acidity lifts the finish. An approachable wine with soft, powdery tannins that's ready now but substantial enough to hold through 2027.
