Château Jany Sauternes

Château Jany Sauternes is a classic sweet white wine from the renowned Sauternes region in Bordeaux, France. It is typically made from a blend of Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and a small amount of Muscadelle grapes. These grapes are affected by Botrytis cinerea (noble rot), which concentrates their sugars and flavours. The wine shows a deep golden colour with aromas of honey, apricot, and candied citrus peel. On the palate, it is rich and luscious with balanced acidity, delivering notes of dried fruit, marmalade, and a touch of vanilla from oak aging. It’s ideal with blue cheese, foie gras, or fruit-based desserts.
