Calmel & Joseph Villa Blanche Piquepoul Noir

A pretty, pale garnet red showcasing this rare Languedoc variety at its most expressive — fresh red cherry and pomegranate on the nose, lifted by broom flower and softly spiced notes of peppermint and star anise. The palate is bright and diaphanously fruity, with fine tannins and a juicy mix of strawberry, redcurrant and cherry that makes it dangerously easy to drink. Best served lightly chilled.
