The wine is aged in French oak, which adds spice, cedar, and a touch of vanilla while supporting its firm, grippy tannins. On the palate it is rich, dense, and structured, with a long finish and clear ageing potential, typically sitting around 14–14.5% ABV, giving it both power and warmth.
