Niepoort Tawny Dee Port - Half Bottle

A family business dating back 1842, Niepoort’s mission is to maintain its position of “niche player”, continuing to produce distinctive ports and Douro wines, combining centuries-old tradition with innovation. Under the current stewardship of the fifth generation winemakers Eduard Dirk Niepoort and Verena Niepoort, they believe the incorporation of rigorous site selection in conjunction with biodynamic techniques will result in wines with tremendous concentration and complexity, without sacrificing balance or poise.

The wine is brick red/tawny in colour, with delicate nutty aromas and a hint of dried fruits. On the palate, it’s very well balanced with a youthful fruity, luscious character, leading to a long spirity finish.
