Château de Montifaud VSOP Cognac is a refined expression from the family-run estate in the heart of Cognac’s premier cru. Crafted by the Vallet family, who have been producing cognac for six generations, this VSOP is aged well beyond the minimum requirement, with some eaux-de-vie maturing for up to ten years. Distilled from Ugni Blanc grapes and aged initially in new French oak before transferring to older barrels, it offers a harmonious blend of floral and fruity notes. Expect aromas of vineyard flowers evolving into dried florals, complemented by flavours of pear, apricot, and a touch of oak. The palate is round and mellow, leading to a long, elegant finish.
