Cave de Lugny Chardonnay Mâcon-Villages

Cave de Lugny Chardonnay Mâcon-Villages is a classic white Burgundy from the Mâconnais region in southern Burgundy, made entirely from 100 percent Chardonnay. It opens with fresh aromas of citrus, green apple, and white blossom. The palate is bright and elegant, showing notes of stone fruit, lemon zest, and a touch of creaminess balanced by a crisp mineral edge. There is no oak influence, allowing the fruit to shine through with clarity and purity. Comparable in freshness and finesse to a good Chablis, but with slightly riper fruit and softer texture, it’s ideal with roast chicken, grilled fish, or creamy vegetable dishes.
